I have come down the ages — Kahlil Gibran
A poem inspired by Kahlil Gibran’s I have come down the ages
To Stand Thus
To stand thus
in this instant
naked and frail.To stand thus
tomorrow
as if night no longer existed. For the wings are near
and the soul is ascending. To stand thus
in this instant
and tomorrow
like a root in the earth.
